Resurrected
After a long time, it reappears in the eagle’s nest showing signs that it is healing. The eagle spread its wings to welcome the sheep, its eyes watchful.
“Easter eh. Muling pagkabuhay.” The Lion said, a very close friend of the Eagle. A coincidence maybe, because of all the dates the Sheep chooses to reemerge, he chose the eve of Easter. Like most of the returnees, the Eagle welcome him.

He arrived just a few minutes before the clock strikes midnight. Just a little bit surprise, I opened the door for him. Bespectacled, he still exudes that scholarly look. He was very thin unlike what I have remembered of him, or my mind was set to the thought that he came from a serious sickness. Nevertheless, his total aura still has the confidence and haughtiness. The sheep clothed in fox hide. Or is it really the other way around?
We made some catching up. I have many questions for him and he answered all of them. I looked at his eyes at all times to catch that one flick that would negate his statements. Like an eagle, I watched every word he says and gesture he makes. I believed that he was well aware of that that he even dared me to look at his eyes. Our conversation also went to our colleagues and friends. We also talked about politics and his presidential bid.
Hours went by and he asked me if I want him to leave. I said that it is okay for him to stay. He said that he might be interrupting something. Giving me the naughty look, I am getting what he meant. I returned the gesture and asked him if he would like to join. He smiled and told me that his doctor advised him against stressful activities. He said that he did not bring his medicine. I laughed at this last remark. Indeed, he has the reason to decline. He mentioned a while ago that he needs a year to recuperate. What could have happened if he would give in and we both end up in bed?

The sheep landed once on the eagle’s nest, submitting itself willingly. Then it disappeared. It is believed that it is injured and hid itself. After a long time, it reappears in the eagle’s nest showing signs that it is healing. The eagle spread its wings to welcome the sheep, its eyes watchful. “Is this the sheep that I once knew?”
